It is not my intent to be offensive to you or to “bash” you. I write this out of concern for you. I believe what the Bible says about homosexuality and the fate of those that practice what our Creator, Almighty Yahweh, forbids.
Please consider carefully what these verses are saying and ask yourself if what you are doing is beneficial to you and pleasing to your Creator.
Leviticus 18:2, 22, 27-29 – “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘I am Yahweh your God. …You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination. … (for the men of the land who have been before you have done all these abominations, and the land has become defiled); so that the land will not spew you out, should you defile it, as it has spewed out the nation which has been before you. For whoever does any of these abominations, those persons who do so shall be cut off from among their people.”
The men of Israel were forbidden to have sexual relations with other men. The people of the land of Canaan were having all sorts of forbidden sexual relationships which is why the God of Israel, Yahweh, drove them out of the land and gave that land to the Israelites.
Leviticus 20:13 – “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. …”
The Creator of the heavens and the earth says in His Torah that homosexuality is grounds for the death penalty. A male Israelite that had sexual relations with another man was put to death immediately under their judicial system. We do not put homosexuals to death in the United States, but a time will come when all are judged by the Almighty. He does not follow US law, but the laws that govern His Kingdom.
Romans 1:26-28 – “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.”
As long as one continues to commit acts that our Creator says not to because He considers them to be shameless and abominable, He will turn away from such a one.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 – “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”
1 Timothy 1:8-11 – “Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.”
Jude 1:7 – “just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.”
Homosexuality is among those things that the Law of Yahweh forbids. Those who refuse to obey Yahweh and commit the things that He has forbidden will not live forever in His soon coming Kingdom on earth. Instead, they will face a fiery judgment just as those who committed forbidden sexual acts in Sodom and Gomorrah did. Those cities and their inhabitants were destroyed by fire and brimstone from heaven.
You, however, do not have to share the same fate as them. Almighty Yahweh has provided a means for you to be forgiven of your sins through the shed blood of His only begotten Son, Messiah Yeshua. For all that put their faith in him will receive forgiveness of all their sins and eternal life in the Kingdom of Yahweh.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God [Yahweh] is eternal life through Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) our Master.” Romans 6:23
“For God [Yahweh] so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Yahweh is giving people plenty of time to repent because He loves people and does not want them to perish.
Yahweh is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
At this time, Yahweh is overlooking the ignorance of people that don’t know the difference between right and wrong according to His standards.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent: Acts 17:30
Repentance, which means turning away from one’s sins and obeying Yahweh’s laws, is not optional. If there is no repentance, there will be no forgiveness of sin. The unrepentant will simply perish for all eternity.
Some of you might be saying to yourself, “How can I change the way I am since I was born a homosexual?”
Homosexuality and bisexuality are behavior choices that people make. That is why our Creator forbid such behavior and warned people of the judgment that would follow if they disobeyed and committed such unlawful acts. Our Creator would not say such things if He created people to be that way. There are many things in Scripture that Yahweh forbid under penalty of death such as murder, kidnapping, idolatry, etc. Yet, not one of those things is unavoidable because people were born to do those things. You have a choice and a free will to exercise that choice.
Friend, if you repent of your sins, that is, choose to turn away from doing things that your Creator forbids, and receive His Son Yeshua as your Master and Savior, you will be forgiven and granted eternal life.
May Yahweh grant you wisdom to make the right decision.
