You have placed our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your presence. Psalm 90:8
When a person breaks Yahweh’s laws (their Creator’s laws) and tries to keep it hidden from others it is a “secret sin”. It could be a husband committing adultery behind his wife’s back, a woman who secretly steals a necklace from the local store, a child who lies about breaking a vase, or a man who deletes the history on his computer so his wife will not find out about his addiction to pornography. The number of possible ways a person can sin and attempt to keep it hidden is endless.
While attempting to hide secret sins may succeed in fooling a spouse or parent, it cannot fool Yahweh. He sees exactly what is being done in secret. He hears exactly what is being said in private. He knows exactly what is taking place in our minds and imaginations. Whatever is done in secret now will be exposed in the future.
. . . for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. Matthew 10:26
For God [Elohim] will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14
Yahweh sees secret sins
For now You number my steps: do You not watch over my sin? Job 14:16
For His eyes are upon the ways of man, and He sees all his goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. Job 34:21-22
For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes. Jeremiah 16:17
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Says Yahweh. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Says Yahweh. Jeremiah 23:24
The eyes of Yahweh are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:13
Do not think for a moment that you will get away with the sins you keep hidden from the eyes of man. They will be exposed in Yahweh’s timing.
. . . behold, you have sinned against Yahweh: and be sure your sin will find you out. Numbers 32:23
Yahweh hears secret sins
And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. And they said, Has Yahweh indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not spoken also by us? And Yahweh heard it. Numbers 12:1-2
And Yahweh spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against Me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against Me. Numbers 14:26-27
And you shall know that I am Yahweh, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. Thus with your mouth you have boasted against Me, and have multiplied your words against Me: I have heard them. Ezekiel 35:12-13
It does not matter if you whisper concerning your extramarital affair (adultery) or whatever sins you may be hiding. Yahweh hears every word you speak.
Yahweh knows your heart
If we have forgotten the name of our God [Elohim], or stretched out our hands to a strange god; Shall not Elohim search this out? For He knows the secrets of the heart. Psalm 44:20-21
Search me, O Elohim, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Psalm 139:23
I Yahweh search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:10
O Elohim, You know my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from You. Psalm 69:5
And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore. Deuteronomy 31:21
Not only does He see and hear your secret sins, but He knows about them before you even commit them; as you are yet considering committing them in your heart and mind. Do not follow the error of Israel in thinking that you can hide your sins from Yahweh or that He does not see your secret sins.
Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from Yahweh, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us? Isaiah 29:15
Then said He unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? For they say, Yahweh sees us not; Yahweh has forsaken the earth. Ezekiel 8:12
The day of judgment is coming upon this world. Your hidden sins will be exposed before all and you will be given a just reward for your evil deeds done in secret.
Ah Adonai Yahweh! Behold, You have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you: You show loving kindness unto thousands, and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty El, Yahweh of hosts, is His name. Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for your eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings: Jeremiah 32:17-19
There is hope for you
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Yeshua Messiah.
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Yeshua Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:1-10
Consider your ways friend, and consider your future. If you desire to live forever in the Kingdom of Yahweh, then you must receive His Son Yeshua as your Savior. His shed blood will then cleanse you of all your sins done openly or in secret.
But as many as received him (Yeshua the Messiah), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12
