There once was a mighty kingdom known as Babylon. It was ruled by King Nebudchadnezzar for many years. It came to pass that the king had a dream that troubled him greatly. He threatened to kill all his magicians and sorcerers if they did not tell him what his dream was and it’s interpretation. Since they were unable to grant the king’s request, the decree went out to put all of them to death. When Daniel, one of the captives from the children of Israel, found out about the decree, he prayed to His Elohim (God), Almighty Yahweh. Yahweh revealed to Daniel what the dream was and it’s interpretation. Here are the words of Daniel to King Nebuchadnezzar.

Daniel 2:31-47  “You saw, O king, and behold, a great image. This image, mighty and of exceeding brightness, stood before you, and its appearance was frightening.

The head of this image was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its middle and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.

As you looked, a stone was cut out by no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.

Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

“This was the dream. Now we will tell the king its interpretation.

You, O king, the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory,

and into whose hand he has given, wherever they dwell, the children of man, the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heavens, making you rule over them all—you are the head of gold.

Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay.

And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.

As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.

And in the days of those kings the Mighty One of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever, just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him.

The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

Most of this dream has literally been fulfilled. The kingdom of Babylon was destroyed by the Medes and Persians. The Medo-Persian empire was destroyed by the Greeks and the Grecian empire was destroyed by the Romans. The ten toes of clay are yet to be destroyed by the Kingdom of Heaven when Messiah Yeshua returns. His Kingdom will stand forever after all others have fallen.

There are several other prophetic passages showing the future destruction of all the nations that do not serve the Creator of the heavens and the earth.

Isaiah 60:12  For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste.

Daniel 7:13-14, 27   I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’

Psalm 2:1-12  Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against Yahweh and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.”

He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.” I will tell of the decree: Yahweh said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Revelation 11:15  Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

Micah 4:1-2  It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it, and many nations shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob, that He may teach us His ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.

Now that you have learned that all the nations of this world will fall and become part of the Kingdom of Yahweh, which kingdom will you choose to live in? The choice is obvious, but for many who love this world and the things in it, it is not an easy choice to make. What do you value more; eternal life in the presence of your Creator in a kingdom full of love, peace and righteousness or a few fleeting years of sinful pleasure in the kingdom of the world followed by eternal separation from your Creator? I hope that makes your decision easier.

All those who receive Yeshua, the Son of Yahweh, into their hearts as their Master and Savior are taken out of the darkness of the kingdom of this world and placed in the Kingdom of Yeshua.

Col 1:13-14  Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Choose wisely and live.
