Hope of a Better Life in a Better World

Are you longing for peace, but can’t find it? Are you hoping to be healed of a long term illness, but find no relief? Are you struggling through life with a disability, but find it difficult to cope? Are you longing for a friend or spouse to share life with, but cannot find someone who truly cares for you?

Life in this world is very difficult for most people. We are surrounded by wars, famines, natural disasters, people that seek our hurt for no reason, sickness, disease, death and a whole host of other problems and troubles that rob us of the joy of life.

Friend, it doesn’t have to be that way with you. There is hope and it is found in our Creator, Almighty Yahweh; in His only begotten Son Yeshua, the Savior of the world; and in Yahweh’s Word, the Holy Scriptures, the Bible.

Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in Yahweh.  (Psalms 31:24)

All the trials and tribulations we go through in life, all the problems we face, all the grief we deal with, weaken our hearts. Putting our hope in our Creator to see us through the difficult times in life will help us to face them with courage and strength of heart.

Yahweh takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy.  (Psalms 147:11)

Behold, the eye of Yahweh is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy;  (Psalms 33:18)

We are all in need of mercy because we have ALL broken His commandments. We have ALL sinned by breaking His holy laws.

Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (1 John 3:4)

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of Elohim (God); (Romans 3:23)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Yeshua Messiah our Master. (Romans 6:23)

Yahweh will have mercy on those that “fear” Him. To “fear” Him means not only a “quaking in your boots” type of fear, but a deep reverence for Him.

Knowing that the payment for our sins is death, we must accept Yahweh’s way to have our sins forgiven. Yahweh’s only begotten Son is that way.

Yeshua said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)

Yeshua took our sins and death penalty upon himself when he died on the cross. When we receive him as our Master and Savior, he sets us free from sin and the claim it has on our life.

To whom Elohim would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory:  (Colossians 1:27)

Those that do not have Messiah living in them are without hope (Ephesians 2:12). However, once we receive Yeshua as our Savior and Master, we have hope that we will be glorified as he was by being resurrected from the dead unto eternal life.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep [figuratively “sleeping” in the grave], that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Yeshua will Elohim bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Master, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Master shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Master himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Master. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

In hope of eternal life, which Elohim, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;  (Titus 1:2)

Our hope is based on what is written in the Holy Scriptures.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  (Romans 15:4)

Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. (Psalm 119:114)

Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.  (Psalm 119:116)

There is a better world coming in which we will have a better life; a life without pain and suffering, without sickness or death or tears.

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Elohim is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim.
And Elohim shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (Rev 21:1-5)

Do not give up hope, dear reader. Trust in these words of your Creator to be true and to come to pass. Put your trust and hope in Yahweh and His Son Yeshua even though you have not seen either of them.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man sees, why does he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.  (Romans 8:24-25)

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.  (Lamentations 3:26)

Now the Elohim of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.  (Romans 15:13)
