06 22nd, 2022A national news article by CNN warned about the dangers of eating undercooked pork.
A Healthline article warns against eating pork as well. Aside from the tapeworm issues CNN reported on, Healthline listed four other dangers associated with eating pork; Hepatitis E, Multiple Sclerosis, Liver Cancer and Cirrhosis, and Yersinia (bacterial infection).
Our Creator forbid the eating of pork (pig meat/swine’s flesh) in several passages in Scripture.
And Yahweh spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which you shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Whatsoever parts the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that shall you eat.
Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
And the coney, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
And the hare, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
And the swine (pig), though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he chews not the cud; he is unclean to you.
Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall you not touch; they are unclean to you. Leviticus 11:1-8
Nevertheless these you shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you.
And the swine (pig), because it divides the hoof, yet chews not the cud, it is unclean unto you: you shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass. Deuteronomy 14:7-8
For, behold, Yahweh will come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
For by fire and by His sword will Yahweh plead with all flesh: and the slain of Yahweh shall be many.
They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine’s flesh (pork), and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says Yahweh.
For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. Isaiah 66:15-18
There is forgiveness available to anyone who would like these and any other sins washed away. Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) voluntarily died for the sin of the world.
The next day John saw Yeshua coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29
When Yeshua was nailed to the cross, he took upon himself all the sin of the world. His blood was shed for you so that all your sins could be forgiven. All you need to do is receive him as your Savior.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. John 3:16-21
Friend, Yeshua is the light spoken of here. Embrace the light while it still shines in your face. The time will come when it will cease shining. Then comes Judgment Day when you will stand before your Creator to answer for your own sins. Don’t wait for that day. Let Yeshua answer for your sins in your place. He will stand before the Creator and claim his shed blood for the cleansing of your sins.
