Our country now has a new national monument, the Stonewall National Monument, dedicated to the LGBT community. President Obama said in his dedication speech;

“I believe our national parks should reflect the full story of our country — the richness and diversity and uniquely American spirit that has always defined us, that we are stronger together. That out of many, we are one,”

Yes, our country does indeed have a “richness and diversity” that defines us, but not always in a good way. We had slavery, but we did not dedicate monuments to the slave owners. We have gangsters, but we do not dedicate monuments to those gangsters who steal from us and kill our loved ones. We have child pornography, but we do not dedicate monuments to those who exploit our children. We have black marketers, but we do not dedicate monuments to those who sell drugs and other illegal items. We have adulterers, but we do not dedicate monuments to those who destroy marriages. We have abortionists, but we do not dedicate monuments to those who murder unborn children. We have a host of other evils in our country, but we do not dedicate monuments to those who commit evil.

Then … we have LGBTs. To them we dedicate national monuments in honor of their abnormal lifestyle. For thousands of years, sex between two men or sex between two women was looked upon as a perversion or a crime against nature. Such views were primarily formed from the Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah in which the residents of those cities were destroyed by “God” (Yahweh) because of their immoral sexual activity and homosexual relationships. Proponents of such acts would mock the Bible and try to discredit it by claiming it is just a bunch of fairy tales.

Years later, Yahweh took a slave people out of Egypt and made them His chosen people. He gave them righteous laws to guide them in how to behave in a pleasing way in His sight. Among those laws were the following:

Leviticus 18:22  You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13  If a man also lie with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Deuteronomy 23:17  There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

In the eyes of our Creator, such behavior was abominable and worthy of death. Proponents of such abominable acts would say such laws are man-made and that there is no Creator.

Then along came the Savior of the world, Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, the Son of Yahweh. He upheld all of our Creator’s commandments, including those cited above, by saying;

Matthew 5:17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Proponents of the LGBT community would say, “Jesus taught us to love one another, so how could two men in love with each other be wrong?”  We are to love one another within the boundaries that our Creator set for us in His Law. Homosexuality is outside those boundaries.

The Savior sent out a man by the name of Paul to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles (non-Jews). Those that believe would be saved and those who continue in unbelief would perish. The following are among the things that Paul taught the Gentiles.

Romans 1:26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due. 28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The Apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said those who practice such perverted acts are worthy of death. Not that Paul or any other man would carry out that death penalty, but the Almighty Himself would. The Apostle Paul also wrote;

1Corinthians 6:9  Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10  nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

And;

1Timothy 1:8  But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9  realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers 10  and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, 11  according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.

Proponents of the LGBT community would say, “You need to be tolerant of others. We’re not hurting anyone. We have just as much right to love whoever we choose as you do”.  Are we to be tolerant of murderers, adulterers, thieves, etc.? No. The sins and abominable acts of the LGBT community are forbidden by our Creator and are not to be tolerated. Their sins do hurt others as they infiltrate our schools and push their sinful views on our children, turning them away from the ways of their Creator.

It was only recently (1961) that liberal state legislators and judges began overturning laws against sodomy and homosexuality. A handful of liberal men who could care less about the Laws of their Creator have foisted upon us their aberrant views and set the course of our nation down the road to destruction.

A day is coming when all people will be judged according to their works (deeds in life):

Revelation 20:12   And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

It is not too late for you who promote the LGBT agenda, and for you who commit such abominable acts against the Laws of your Creator, to repent of your sins and begin to obey His Laws. It is not too late to receive Yeshua (Jesus) as your Savior and have all your sins forgiven. It is not too late to receive Yeshua, through whom we receive a resurrection from the dead unto eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven; a Kingdom where there will be no murderers, adulterers, homosexuals, or any other lawless people. Yeshua (Jesus) is your only hope.
